After the fiasco that they called Pac-Man for the 2600 dust settled, I personally was wanting more for my 2600 in the legacy that was called Pac-Man. Pac-Man was a dismal failure for the Atari 2600 and didn't resemble the arcade version at all. However, shortly thereafter, Atari got it right and made Ms. Pac-Man for the 2600 in a very faithful version.I was personally amazazed at this game when I got my hands on it. It was a great translation, with different mazes, moving fruit, and the sounds effects that were close to what the arcade version had to offer. The graphics? Impressive for the time, although the cut scenes were still absent, and understandably so.Another amazing thing? The flicker was barely noticeable! The ghosts were crisp and clean, and Ms. Pac-Man actually LOOKED like Ms. Pac-Man! For the collector, you should (as said in my other 2600 reviews) get a loose cart for playing, and a boxed set for your collection.Bottom line, Ms. Pac-Man is a worthy addition to anyone's Atari 2600 collection and well worth playing if you love all things Pac!
