- Electronic Arts once again teams with one of the most respected managers in baseball, Tony La Russa, in La Russa Baseball 95 for the Sega Genesis. Improvements over the original include saved statistics over an entire season, 1994 MLBPA rosters, views from either the pitcher's mound or behind the plate, and detailed replicas of actual stadiums (six in total). The game does not include a Major League Baseball license for authentic team names or logos, however.La Russa 95 features accurately modeled player abilities, a manage only option with one-pitch mode, three difficulty levels, ability to change lineups and defensive assignments, player drafting for two custom teams, trades, reliever warm-ups, variable wind affecting ball movement, and infield or outfield shifts. Play (or simulate) a 162-game season complete with playoffs and championship, or compete in a pre-season game where you can match-up any of the 28 big league or custom teams.
