Tomb Raider Legend - PS2 Game (Retro Fam)

As a fan of the Tomb Raider games, I have the whole collection, and yes there are some major disappointments in the series that have made players turn away from the series in the past (the ones that come to mind are TR: Chronicles & TR Angel of Darkness) while each one had their moments of enjoyability, they weren't "true" Tomb Raider Games to me, but with Tomb Raider: Legend, the writers of the game seemed to have gone back to the concept of Tomb Raider and started it anew.Now I know that previous reviewers have made comments concerning the shortness of the game. True, the game is shorter than the original, but the graphics seem to make up for it. I mean hey...Laura looks almost human in this game, so when you think about it, it kinda balances everything out.Another upside of the game is that there is something specific that she is after that we the players know about from the onset of the game, instead of us learning at some point halfway through what it is she is after.She is after the fragments of a sword that may or may not be some version of Excalibur, which will help her a great deal at a later point of the game, and while she is doing that, she is also exploring the very reason she is doing what she is doing and what it was that really killed her parents, and how her parents deaths several years ago are connected with what she is doing in the present.Of course a few changes that players of the classic games need to get used to are the different controls...well to be s.

We prefer this to Anniversary, lots of fun for your bucks and great for anyone looking for a reasonably lengthy action game. It's been better reviewed by so many other people that play these games all the time - we enjoyed it.
