Yourself Fitness - PS2 Game (Retro Fam)

Bought this for the girlfriend so she could play FFVII, she loved it and was happy. It didn't make any weird noises or anything.I really don't see the point to rating this product though. I mean, am I rating the specific used system I recieved or the console in general? If it's the former then my review is pointless because all used items are different and the quality of the unit I recieved isn't indicative of what you might get. If it's the latter then just use google search for professional reviews of the PS2 system. How am I qualified to rate a gaming system!?Anyway... if you've read this far then you enjoy a good rant and I like you. lol

So far, so good! Clean packaging, clean unit, functions done, plays games fine, doesn't overheat. I hope it's still good 2 and 3 years from now, but so far...Stoked! Fully stoked.

First off, i'd like to say that this came as gently used and refurbished. I ordered the Toy Story bundle and am in love. I'm 20, but I loved the games from my childhood. Now, the people that are complaining about the quality of their system, were not smart. Any time you order something used, get the BEST possible condition because you should expect to get a lesser condition, as you don't know exactly how good of a place it is until you buy it. Since I chose Elctronic Extravaganza, and their description was "Slightly used, tested for functioning and bugs, and almost brand new", I knew i'd be getting a good deal. If you chose Fair or Good condition, that was your fault. You can't take their word for it all the time. As far as my product, it operates extremely well. Disc tray reads and holds games just like it should. All ports for memory cards and controllers are intact and function properly. It came with the proper cords and one controller, just like it said. Everything is in great condition. This is the console I remember playing and loving. I definitely recommend buying from retrolio, just choose your DISTRIBUTOR carefully. And don't expect exactly what they say. That should go for any online purchase, honestly. I will update this review if any problems occur after I have used it a little more. Until then, 5 Stars. (:

Mostly i use my PS2 to play old games, arcade & otherwise—Namco Museum 50th Anniversary, Midway Arcade Treasures, Midway Arcade Treasures 2, Midway Arcade Treasures 3, Atari Anthology, Capcom Classics Vol. 1, and the Sonic Mega Collection. Plus, there are still some great PS1 games that the PS2 will also play. It's a real workhorse.

Some of the best kids games came out for the playstation 2, and since the playstation 3 is not backwards compatible, we had to try to get another one of these when ours finally started acting up (after an obscene amount of use over the years). I was so thrilled to find a brand new one of these on retrolio. It came in 2 days brand new in the box and I got a warranty. So cool.
