Watchmen: The End is Nigh Complete Experience - PS3 Game (Retro Fam)

Well after watching the movie for at least 5 times, I wanted more, so I sold my Watchmen Bluray copy, and decided to buy this one cuz it included the game. So basically for the price I bought this it's a super deal, the packaging it's beautiful, nice combination of the game+movie, the only thing I didn't like was the game, it's pretty lame, just played it once, but when there's nothing to play, it's ok...

It's a fact that this is a straight beat-em-up game. It can get repetitive at times, but most of the time I had a lot of fun beating the crap out of enemy after enemy. That is basically what the game is, nothing but fighting wave after wave of bad guys. However, there is a story to the game and it is told motion comic book style and is voiced by the movie actors! It's really fun getting to play Rorschach and Nite Owl. It's true that there isn't a lot of substance to the gameplay I guess, but the graphics are great and the story is fun for fans. If you like the ol' style arcade games like Double Dragon where you fight criminals coming at you, then you will probably like the game.

I originally purchased Watchmen on Blu Ray for around $21 and this was only a few bucks more. For the money, you get everything you get with the Blu Ray release plus a 4-5 hour beatem'up game. Its pretty simplistic, but a fun way to waste a few hours, that's for sure.The graphics while good, are a bit on the drab side, the collission detection is a little lacking, and sadly, the story is non existent.As for the movie, I really liked it. It fits well with the comic and was entertaining.
