While not nearly as entertaining and feature-rich as its Xbox 360 and PC cousin, this game looks very good in 3D and at least for me, brought back a series of games that has sort of been dead to me since the Dreamcast Days. The soundtracks of all levels have been remixed and redone to some extent, and the levels have been 'remastered' graphically--some better than others--so that even the levels based off of ones I was already familiar with seemed somewhat new. *The list of levels in both games (aside from the first level) is different; not the same game between 3DS and PC/XB360!*Pros: 3D works really well, sound is VERY good, and remix tracks generally come out very good.Cons: Levels are sometimes pretty short, limited to mainly left-to-right action, and a lot of simple features that are in the main console series, like taking unlocked music tracks and substituting them with the level music, are left out. Game configuration and options are over-simplified. *overall, these are really just nit-picky complaints.*Recommended/conclusion: Yes. However, if you have the PC/XB360 version, you might find it a little lacking for the price.
