My son has the frist Lego Batman and has enjoyed playing it. This one has not disspaointed him in any way. He loves the Lego theme, and there is no learning curve to the 2nd. The controls are the same as the firsr game, which has allowed him to start playing with no effort.

I got this for seven-year-old son, who played the original LEGO Batman game (along with LEGO Indiana Jones and LEGO Star Wars). In this game, the characters all talk (in cutscenes, mind you) and the graphics are incredible . . . and you get Superman, too. In this game, Batman and Robin have various supersuits that they have to jump into in order to overcome various mission impediments. Robin has the Magnet Suit, the Acrobat Suit, the Ice Suit and the, I think, Hydro Suit. Batman gets the Bat Suit, the Electricity Suit, the Sensor Suit and, I think, the Power Suit (which enables him to throw bombs). Also, the vehicles are great.Gameplay is long and fun. You'll get your moneysworth out of this.I liked the game so much, I got it for my PC via the Steam website for use with an Xbox controller for PC.Highly recommended.
