When SOCOM originally hit the PS scene, us PS2 owners thought we were in heaven! And we were! Not only is it the BEST military-type game ever created for ANY console....But, When you add the PS2 Modem, WOAH! PS2 owners got an even biger thrill!Now, Zipper Interactive comes out with SOCOM II!OK, I've had SOCOM II now for 4 days, and (for the life of me) I can NOT put it down. Let me shed a bit more light on the new game.First, (as the original) this game features online-gameplay, the graphics are a bit better, analog controls are a bit more responsive, gameplay more fluid/lifelike, cool movies & storyline, cooler weaponry, and the voice command features (to me) seem a bit better, as well.The "challenge factor" is also better than the first SOCOM. You really have to be extra-stealthy in this one, on almost every level! No "Jumping in like gangbusters" here. Patience is really needed for SOCOM II.Some really cool things about this game are features like:You don't only work with the same 3 teammates, sometimes you're fighting alongside other teammates (on certain levels). It breaks up the monotony. (British & Russian teammates)Newer weapon upgrades include RPG's, and even THERMAL rifle scopes! Both add a new level of gameplay.Anyway, if you already love SOCOM, go out and get SOCOM II as soon as possible!

Online is where the bacon in the sandwitch is. I mean I spend sleepless nights with frends and unkown people, taking people out. If yo loved the first Socom, GET THIS!! If you played games like Ghost Recon, and Rainbow six you gotta get this! If you havent these kinds games, this is a good place to start.
