I bought this game hoping for something a little new from the shooter genre, and it really has found a way to do that. To start, it's a gorgeous game, I'm sure the 360 may be a little behind the One, but the graphics are still beautiful. Next, the flow of the game play is smooth. Even when operating a Titan, which seems as though it'd be clunky, the movement is very fluid. The pacing of the game is what I'm most impressed by. By throwing a few extra AIs into an online multiplayer match, you not only get some much needed support if you stick with them, but get some extra enemies to frag as you wall run along the map. The extra characters make each match seem fuller, and keep you constantly on the attack and defensive, so that you don't ever feel like you're jogging across a map just to get to the action. The rate at which your Titan falls is perfectly timed, and the fact that that time is shortened with every kill just further immerses you into the game. If you're fan of the first person shooter, but getting a little bored with the current formula, Titanfall is for you.
