The size of the Game Boy Color display is 43 mm (1.7 in) by 41 mm (1.6 in) but what makes it better than its predecessor is the fact that it features a color screen rather than monochrome, hence the term ”color” in the console’s name.

POKEMON CRYSTAL

Play from a third-person, top-down perspective, with players directly navigating the protagonist around the fictional universe, interacting with objects and people, the goal being to catch Pokémon. Along with its Gold counterpart it was the best-selling Game Boy Color game.

KIRBY’S DREAM LAND

Discover the game that launched the Kirby franchise. This side-scrolling action platformer showcases beautiful graphics for its time. You take the role of Kirby, who is tasked with recovering all the food and Sparkling Stars stolen by King Dedede.  If you manage to beat the game, an unlockable hard mode awaits you, with limited lives and reduced HP for additional, challenging fun!

DONKEY KONG LAND Nintendo GameBoy Color: Tetris

The second game in the Donkey Kong franchise, DK Land retains all the fun gameplay elements of the first game, and tasks you to recover all the bananas stolen by King K. Rool. You can switch between Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong using the select button, to adapt to different challenges in the game. Each level has one or two bonus stages, along with new enemies and bosses.

SUPER MARIO LAND Nintendo GameBoy Color: Tetris

One of the best-selling games on the Gameboy, Super Mario Land tasks the beloved plumber with navigating through Sarasaland, to save Princess Daisy from the evil Tatanga. The game was praised at release for how well it kept the fun gameplay of the original Super Mario Bros. Its 12 levels are split between 4 worlds and unique bosses at the end of each one.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: ORACLE OF AGES Nintendo GameBoy Color: Tetris

The player controls the protagonist Link from an overhead perspective as he explores and uses his sword for attacks, complemented by secondary weapons and items. In this game the Triforce transports Link to Labrynna, where Veran possesses Nayru.
