The Super Scope is the official wireless light gun peripheral for the Super Nintendo, released in North America in 1992 and in Europe as the Nintendo Scope. The successor to the NES Zapper, this bazooka-shaped accessory is powered by six AA batteries (not included) and communicates wirelessly with the console through a small infrared Receiver that plugs into the second controller port . The unit features a Fire button, Pause button, a power switch with regular and Turbo modes, and a Cursor button on the front grip .
