This game is very fun and well executed. i was skeptical about playing rock band on a handheld since activision did a bad job at making guitar hero for the nintendo ds. with guitar hero on tour, you hold a mini guitar in a cramp inducing way while tapping the touch screen to strum.gameplay: 9/10this is a fun game, it might take time to get used to especially since it is very hard to get 5 stars. the gameplay is similar to amplitude where you hit buttons on the psp to play the music, and it is up to you to keep a combo going, you switch from track to track playing phrases, when a phrase is finished, the particular instrument will play on its own. if you keep flunking a phrase, you will find that the other tracks will stop playing on its own. from my experience it is easy to recover and using overdrive really helps the band out alot. there is also band survival mode which offeres a whole new level of challenge, where all instruments are going at the same time and it is up to you to make sure none of them fail out. so if you keep ignoring a particular instrument, it will fail out, and when an instrument fails out, it is pretty difficult to recover it especially in survival mode.sound/tracklist: 10/10this game comes with music already found in the rock band series mostly consisting of rock music, which is good. i have always had an interest in playing those amplitude style games but avoided them due to the bad selection of music. amplitude games usually consist of boy/girl band m.

This game is truly amazing! Once you start playing it you'll never want to stop. With upbeat songs like "Move Along" by All-American Rejects, "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi, and "Message in a Bottle" by The Police, this game will keep you hooked from day 1!Most of the songs in this game are also in Rock Band II for PS2, with a few exceptions. In Rock Band Unplugged, you have to play all 4 instruments--bass, guitar, drums, and vocals--to keep the song up and running. If you don't, you fail and the song sounds just plain horrible. :P The controls are very easy to get used to and are very easy to apply during play time in the game. You are able to name, customize, and create your band. I thought that this was a great feature! This way you can change your outfit, hairstyle, attitude, and instruments whenever you like. Every different song, city, or level if you like. :) You also select a band logo and then name your band.I would most certainly recommend this game to anyone who likes Rock Band but can't afford to buy a $200 PS2 game. It's the perfect remedy for your Rock Band craving. ;) All that's left to do is, enjoy! :)
