Slurpy is a bizarre 1984 action game from Xonox where you control a round green creature with a long trunk, floating through one-screen caves while automatically sucking up everything in front of you. Your goal is to collect all the glowing blue bugs (glowbugs) in each level, but when they turn red, they become poisonous—if you suck them, you must spit them out immediately or lose a life. A variety of enemies including birds, spiders, snakes, and flying insects roam the caves, most of which can also be sucked up unless they are red. The floor contains eggs that hatch into more enemies if disturbed, and taking too long triggers an earthquake that drops deadly rocks from above.
