SSX 3 - Xbox Game (Retro Fam)

great game.

This is a truly great SSX game, IMHO. The style isn't quite the same as SSX Tricky, but it's refreshingly difficult to pull-off truly complicated moves, versus the more arcade-y "push a button and I'll do my hardest trick"-type of control scheme used in many other extreme sports games (skateboarding games, snowboarding games, MX games, etc).I admit I waited for it to dip below $20 before I made a purchase, and if there's a multiplayer element, I haven't sampled it. I've had it for about a month and it satisfies the exact niche in my collection that I wanted it to: it's a game that reminds me of the days of Tony Hawk 1 & 2 and the OG SSX Tricky on PS1, PS2, etc. It's a game where I really feel compelled to pass the controller after my run, watch my friend try his best, and then take the controller back. Not a lot of games are setup to work well with that playstyle anymore.

I had the original game for the xbox and loved it. As soon as I got the 360 I purchased this and am very happy

SSX was always the pick up and play any time game back in the PS2 days for me, and it was something I was missing from my current games library. I'm glad I picked up SSX to fill that void again. Still has the cool, relaxing, while at the same time, intense, racing energy as the original, but with enough additions like the squirrel fly suit, and "storyline" thrown in, varied game modes and new landscapes to make it feel like a new experience. It still has an awesome soundtrack that compliments the feel of the game completely, and is still really fun. A definite pick-up, especially at it's cheaper price-point.

Only a one player game!! Super annoying
