As an intermediate gamer, I have to say that this game is really good. For those of you that play Halo 3 ODST and Modern Warfare 2 all day, this may seem slightly boring. But for a relaxing -yet challenging- game, this is a great buy! There are two difficulties on this game- Padawan and Master. I'm only on Padawan now, and it's not just a walk on the beach. It is easier than other games, however, because of the respawning system. Whenever you die, you simply respawn at the last checkpoint (there are no shortages of these). You do lose a significant amount of points, though, so you still have to be careful. The storyline includes one of the best features of the game. Altough you can play the whole game on single-player, you will always have a partner Jedi to assist you. By default, it will be AI controlled. But at any desired time, another player can join and play as the second Jedi! The other great part about the storyline is that you can play as a variety of different Star Wars heroes (therefore the title, "Republic Heroes"). The storyline is divided up into missions, each with its own heroes. For example, you start off as Anikan with Ashoka, next you have Obi-wan with Klo, and later perhaps Windu with another Jedi. Some missions also use clone troopers, which are quite fun to battle with. And after each completed mission, autosave will save your progress. If there are any downsides to this game, it would probably be the camera angles. They can be slightly frustrating at.
