A decent game though it carries little replayability. I suggest renting it if you can or grabbing it on sale/used. It’s a great game at the 30$ range or less. The story is cool. The combat is challenging but rewarding. The save system and lack of fast travel can be difficult at first, the lack of enemy variety is disappointing. It’s a puzzle platformer with challenging but fair combat.

To say I was excited to play this game is …

To say I was excited to play this game is an understatement. That said, as I played the game, I felt like the content creators took the Jedi motto a little too seriously, fall on your face, fail and keep doing it till you get it right. Do or do not, there is no try!! Normally this might be a good lesson, but when you have fallen from a rope for the 20th time, or keep sliding off an ice path because your timing is off, or you keep walking of a ledge because of the characters tendency to start walking around on his own sometimes, you reach a point of Sith level Anger. From a visual perspective the game is a sight to behold and is very faithful to the Star Wards Universe. The sights and sounds of the various planets is amazing and the characters he meets grow on you and you start to have genuine affection for me, including his little buddy droid. Though from the start, I wished they would have been a little less rigid with the character structure and allowed you to build your own Jedi, and choose the Gender as well as the physical appearance similar to Mass Effect. I wasn't happy to be stuck with the permeant default of Cameron Monaghan including his face , but I got used to him after awhile and just let it go. He is a very good actor and I loved him in Gotham, but they could have given him more to do as a voice actor as he is supremely talented.Game Mechanics first--back to those horrible trip and falls, and swings and a miss. I do not think my Jedi Master intended me to lea.
