Super Cobra is the 1983 ColecoVision port of Konami's arcade side-scrolling helicopter shooter, a spiritual sequel to Scramble. You pilot a military helicopter through ten increasingly difficult stages, flying low over enemy bunkers, missile silos, and fuel depots while avoiding anti-aircraft fire and terrain obstacles. Collect fuel pods to keep your chopper in the air, as running out of fuel means instant death. The game scrolls horizontally, and later stages introduce underground caverns with tight spaces. A challenging and faithful arcade conversion from Parker Brothers.
