It's currently 2020 as of the time of this review and for a game that was released in 1997 for the PS1 (1995 in Arcades), it still holds up well in my opinion! Yes - the graphics are archaic by today's standards, the voice acting is cheesy as all heck, and you will need to use/find an old CRT TV in order for the GunCon to work properly. I primarily bought this to add to my retro collection and I actually still find this game to be pretty intense, even after all these years. This was one of my favorite games whenever I went to the arcade and I'm glad I took the chance and purchased it via retrolio; it was actually cheaper than most other places online, but definitely do your research.
