I just got a Wii for christmas and received this game- it is a blast! It is so much fun, the controls are easy to learn and use, overall it is a wonderful game. But then again, so are almost all Wii games.....!

Recommendation: RentTrauma Center: Second Opinion puts the tools of a surgeon into your hands via the wii-mote and nunchuck. The controls translate fairly well in this game. The Wii-mote is used as your tool, while the nunchuck analog stick lets you select from your arsenal of equipment. You'll need a steady hand to be really good at this game. I found it hard to get anything above a C rating, even on easy. I'm not sure the criteria for getting a better grade, but it didn't effect the fun of the game at all.The game missions are timed at five minutes each, so the pressure is on to finish your job quickly. The story cut scenes aren't really animated, but frames in a japanese style. While I didn't mind it, it didn't really grab my interest. I think I would have preferred an actual animated style of story. It has a sort of branching storyline. It's easy to replay missions and toggle difficulty levels without having to leave the storyline screen. This was a decent game with unique controls well suited for the Wii console.7 Fun5 Graphics6 Replay Value8 Control Scheme

At first I was only interested in Trauma Center because my favorite composer, Shoji Meguro, did the music. But the more I looked into the series, the more compelled I felt to play it! Trauma Center is such a fun game with an interesting story. Yes, the plot gets a little out of hand and unrealistic, but that's what video games are supposed to be :) and they do a pretty good job with the medical terminology. Anyway, the surgeries are fun and challenging, and the game has 3 difficulty settings to suit the player. You can set it easy and just enjoy the story, or you can set it to hard and really give yourself a challenge. I would recommend it on the music alone. Play it!
