Would like to start out by saying that I am so happy that there is finally a hunting game that isn't based on a linear story or showing you where the animals are and just go over there and shoot. This game requires a little bit of patience to hunt and track your kill. That being said, I will break this review into categories like graphics and gameplay etc, as well as give an overall score.GRAPHICS: 9/10this game is absolutely beautiful to look at. The environments are absolutely gorgeous, and the maps are HUGE! I've played for a few hours so far, and barely explored 1/4 of one area. Only reason this isn't a 10/10, is that sometimes the grass or trees in the wind looks "stutter" or like there are frame rate drops, and that's on a PS4 PRO.... Also, and there was an update that may have fixed this, the game froze once on me and on a few different occasions it wouldn't let me bring up binoculars or the rifle, and I have had occasions that the screen would stutter terrible trying to keep up with what was going on. Again, the update may have fixed this. The animals also sometimes don't quite act realistic. Most times they do, but watching a deer through the binoculars and it just spins in place or walks on water... slightly ruins the experience in my opinion.GAMEPLAY: 10/10the actual process of hunting the animals is perfect! you find some form of animal sign (tracks, droppings, bedding, etc) and follow them. you can also follow the animal calls. You have to move slow and qu.
