Here is another X-Box 360/Playstation 3 gaming gem that I recently recollected into my Ps3 collection. Once upon a time, I had actually had an X-Box 360, but I'm sorry to say, I had way too many issues with mine, so eventually I traded up for a Ps3, and I have since recollected some of the shared games that I most loved for collection, UT3 being one of them.I was never real huge into the story mode to be honest, though I did play a lot of it...I felt that it wasn't evenly mixed between all modes of gameplay and they focused primarily only on one or two game modes once you got into it. I'm personally a big deathmatch fan, and while I like capture the flag and thought the other new modes were cool too...once you get into it a little ways they seem to primarily stick to a couple of the newer game modes and don't mix in much good old fashion deathmatch & whatnot. However, the game was still fun...and more than anything I actually loved just setting up straight up deathmatch against bots and even against friends and having it out, and a lot of times my buddies and I would even just team up against a bunch of bots. Ah...good times! If you're into shooters and you want a good one to just run around and have some fun with, this is a quality title to check out, if you haven't already played it before.

This is a great FPS that deserves a bigger audience. The single player campaign is decent but really isn't much more than practice for the different maps and game modes available for online play. The only problem is that the online community for this game is VERY small and I often have problems finding a game/server to join that has more than one person. I really wish this game would catch on with more people because it is a lot of fun.

Keyboard and mouse support is available in this game. All …

Keyboard and mouse support is available in this game. All games should be like this for the PS3! So many First Person Shooters on the PS3, and the system obviously will allow keyboard and mouse but the game developers won't do it. They know it is superior to the controller, because in online-multiplayer mode they have options that would ban keyboard and mouse users from playing with controller users. This is the only game I found to support keyboard and mouse and I looked all over. A lot of people say why not just use PC if your that in love with it, and the answer is "because I'd have to buy a $2000 gaming PC". No compatibility issues with the PS3. Good graphics no problems.Binding the keys is easy, highlight what you want to bind then hit ENTER and then hit the correct key to bind it. Done in the options/input area. It won't let you set a custom crouch key, and seems to be set always at "C", the only bad thing I could find. Maybe a patch will fix this or some other way around it.Some notes about the game itself: You can play deathmatch, capture the flag, and some other modes like that in single-player "Instant Action" against bots, like the original Unreal. Also it allows you to set the difficulty of the bots, and add modifiers to each match, such as slow-mo, low gravity, and insta-gib, which is one-shot one-kill with rifles. The campaign is pretty much just some talk and story surrounding the previous modes mentioned. Story Story Story &.
