If you have played either Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls or Until Dawn, you know what exactly you are getting into. And if you enjoyed those games, you will enjoy Detroit Become Human as well. The game is an interactive movie than a game and the only real gameplay involves either interacting with limited set of objects in the environment or quick time events. The game however has multiple branching stories and your decisions affect the fate of the story and the characters. If you accept the game for what it is, there is a lot of fun to be had.You play as three android protagonists, each of them having their own experiences with humans. Though some story developments come across as unconvincing, I found the overall story well acted, directed and satisfying. Every chapter is followed by a flowchart which gives an idea of the different branches the chapter has. I played the game only once, and could clearly see repercussions of my actions throughout the story. That being said, I am not looking forward to playing the game again and intend to go to Youtube to watch the alternate endings. That is because whatever gameplay exists is just not that engaging.I played the game on the traditional PS4. The game looks beautiful and the world has been painstakingly created.
