Venture is a 1982 ColecoVision port of the arcade dungeon crawler from Exidy, one of the system's earliest titles. You control Winky the elf, exploring a dungeon map with multiple rooms. Each room contains monsters you must clear to claim the treasure—shoot arrows at cyclops, snakes, skeletons, and other enemies. The Hallmonster patrols the hallways between rooms, and touching it costs you a life. Collect all treasures on the map to advance to the next dungeon with more difficult enemies. A simple but addictive arcade classic.
