This is the dream console for me. It contains all my old favorite SNES games, and I love that the controllers are exactly the same and that the console has the same look, though slightly different functionality. The option to have four different save states for each game makes the play experience a lot more forgiving, and the start menu music for the console is so cute and retro! My only complaint is how short the cords are - I have to sit much closer to the TV than my livingroom setup conveniently allows, and it is challenging to have the console within easy reach so that I can quickly hit the reset button when I want to reload a save state.
This is a lot smaller than I anticipated it to be, but I didnt read the. dimensions. I had to get extension cables for the remotes because they are very short. and to change games you have to get up and hit the reset button. but other than that, its amazing. My boyfriend loved it for our anniversary
We absolutely love our SNES Classic - so many good memories. The games look amazing on my tv, which I didn’t expect.The console has most of the classics, but we miss Pilot Wings, Paper Boy, and a few other games we wish were included.One drawback to note - if you have a large tv (ours is 70â€), it’s hard to get to a comfortable viewing distance. The controller cords are short which means you can’t get far enough back. I would recommend you attach this to a smaller TV if possible.
I grew up with the NES and SNES, and this took me back to my childhood. All my favorite games, played the same way. When I had the Wii, I bought a game or two from the SNES and it didn’t fee the same, but it does with this. My only complaint is it is small, fits in the palm of my hand, and the controllers don’t reach far. My TV is 65†and I can’t sit 3 feet away and play. Other than that, I love it
My kids love this gaming system. They are 6 and 2 years of age. My two year old can do very little on it and doesn't understand the point but he gets excited and has fun pushing the buttons. My six year old girl is enjoying it a lot and can play for hours. I feel like these game systems are much better for hand and eye coordination than a tablet ever will be.It came in the right box and is the right gaming system. I would definitely recommend this system to my friends with kids.
