Ive been playing Yakuza 4 for a week now, this game is absolutely amazing. You can do whatever you want like going shopping, playing table tennis, pool, having a massage and a lot more. The fighting system is truly unique and easy.You have the main story as well as a lot of side stories, this game never ends.The only bad thing is they are using a RPG style text box for conversations, but when you go to a cut-scene the graphics are just unbelievable.You need a good background of Japanese humor and lifestyle to enjoy your game, and it will take you weeks to finish it. Its so much fun

Yakuza 4 is one of the best games I've ever …

Yakuza 4 is one of the best games I've ever played, up there with Sleeping Dogs. It has a distinct Asian flavor to it, and a great storyline that kept me glued to this game for a long time. Its a shame Yakuza 5 took so long to come out, and never got a physical release. I really hope this series becomes more popular, its one of the best experiences you can have. Walking on the streets of Tokyo, getting the massages, playing mini games and the thoughtful story are all totally worth it.

if you're into games like saints row, GTA and love japan.. you'll love this game. i've been wanting this game for a loong time and only until recently was i able to come up on it at this price... it sure as hell didnt disappoint either! slight humor mixed with classic yakuza cinematic bad-assery and the night life was cool too~!

This game is awesome. I bought it on release day and beat the game in 30 hours (30% sidequests). The game contains four different main characters which are, Akiyama, the special loan shark that test people before lending money, then we have Saejima, a low-level Yakuza that made a hit to kill 18 people of a enemy clan, then is Tanimura, which is a detective that is investigating the death of his father, and finally the "Dragon of Dojima" Kiryu.Each of the four characters have a very different fighting style and personality (each has it's own sidequests and main quests).The story and music are awesome. So far this is my favorite game of 2011.
