The art of the game was what originally attracted me. But be warned, the game is not a standard RPG, or even TRPG. The game has very very boring animations during combat, which is basically identical sprites swinging a weapon, signifying your unit count, and old school graphics in non-CG scenes, which doesn't bother me much, but might others. The combat system is what stands out though, because it is like a combination of more traditional grid-based TRPGs with the union system, which is like a formation to get your units to assist in combat, and it isn't so much a bonus as a requirement to win encounters.
