Zelda NES Series - GBA Game (Retro Fam)

i bought this game as a gift and the person is enjoying it. he's trying to beat the game before I get a chance to play

Now I for one didnt care about the original Super Mario Bros 2 for NES because it didnt have any way you could save your progress like you could in Kid Icarus,Metroid and The Legend Of Zelda and the graphics were cardboard. The only thing I liked about that game was the music.I admit I used to have a Game Genie and that accesory made this game a whole lot better but that doesnt count anymore cause theres no way to buy a Game Genie for the original NES anymore. This Advance version is incredible. They made things easier by giving you health hearts for throwing bigger enemies and the graphics are much much better as well. Really,really similar to Super Mario World which is to this day 2 dimensional eye candy. The voices for the bosses are very excellent but the voices for the playable characters are pretty annoying but you tend to tone them out when you get absorbed in the graphics,music and gameplay.I have to admit this game is going to be extra special cool once I get my Game Boy Player hooked up to the Game Cube and its on the television screen.

This game is the same as super mario bros. 2 on NES. It's back and it's better on Game Boy Advance because you can save. Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad adventure through an incredible fantasy world on a quest to save the day, with little more than vegetables with which to defend themselves by throwing them at enemies! Open secret doors with a special poition or by going in a vase, it may give an extra heart(if you have none left you lose a life) which could add to the max hearts at a time. If the door or vase is near a pipe then you can go in it and then you can warp to a higher level. Also fight bosses such as Birdo.Certain characters have different special abilities, so certain characters have to do certain things. Use your judgement and try to figure out the best character to use.As an added bonus, Super Mario Advance will also include the original Mario Bros. game.This game is very fun, very addictive, and has good graphics.

Not long ago I got to take Super Mario Advance on a test run. (they had it hooked up at ...) And let me say it is great!! You may be saying to yourself "I wish they would have taken better advantage of the 32 bit graphics available on game boy advance instead of copying Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros 2". But several things have been added to enchance the game.First of all there is a 4 player mode based on Mario Bros which you can play with just 1 game pak.Plus Mario, Luigi, Toad and peach talk at certain points in the game.This game takes advantage of the systems L trigger to shift your view from normal to over your head to under your feet.The method for beating enemies varies by which game you play.In Mario Bros you jump on the platform over your head as an enemy walks on it to flip him then go up and sock it to him.In Super Mario Bros 2 you jump on the enemies head and pick them up and throw them into another enemy or throw veggies (yes veggies) at them. To beat the bosses however you normally pick up the eggs (or whatever else they throw at you) and throw them back.GET THIS GAME!!
