Fantastic first person adventure every Wii U owner (and video game enthusiast for that matter) should experience. It takes some time to ramp up to the rhythm of the game and its action, but once you do it's one of the most unique and enjoyable games I've played in recent memory. It's true survival horror and should not be confused with something like Left 4 Dead. In this game you need to strategically decide what to carry, what to actively equip, and how you are going to approach what's behind the next door.

This game was honestly a lot better than I was expecting. I hadn't played a survival horror game since resident evil 4 on the wii, and even that game was beginning to pull away from the survival horror genre so I can say my experience with survival horror is almost none. This game can be very tense and extremely atmospheric and that makes very fitting for the survival horror genre. If you are looking for a core gaming experience and something that will make you work to be successful and doesn't hold your hand then look no further than ZombiU, a great Wii U exclusive.
