Winter Stars - Xbox 360 Game (Retro Fam)

Good game. Several tweaks could have made it better. I had bought the Tomb Raider game when it came out, and when this one came out, I had to buy it to check it out, its still a great came, but several things kept it from being as good as the first. The game made several "enhanced" changes from the first that kinda mucked it up, such as a far more advanced, and unnecessary skill point system, as well as weapon system. The inclusion of an in-game shop that forces you to grind and grind for hours with largely abstract objectives, very short actual story, and a system where you make items from the animals you hunt that was creative, yet forced more grinding. Overall, still a great game, just some off-putting "additions" that felt unnecessary.

The BEST TR EVER. I'm about 2/3 through and will update my review after I finish. But, for now I'll say this is great in every respect. The graphics are totally beyond words. It's loaded with extra game play if you choose to explore any or all of the many tombs that you come across while you're on the current mission. There are also, challenges you can choose to accept or pass up. The game play is smooth and very Player friendly. The puzzles are challenging but not too much so as to frustrate the player. There are plenty of cinematics to keep the story moving at a steady pace. I honestly, can't find a single imperfection in this game. My opinion is, this TR is nothing short of a masterpiece!
