This is a great fighting game. Comparable to Tekken style of fighting. The only downside is that you have to use the Gamepad when playing multiplayer as the tv camera focuses on one player's character only.

Games fun, wish it had a few more characters to make the "story" mode a little more interesting. Can only fight against the same 8 characters so many times while working through 5 rank classes until it gets old.

Well this is an amazing game.Currently I am ranked top 2000 in the world and top 400 in USA.This game was really balanced on launch and it is only getting better. (especially now that DLC is confirmed)It has all of the advantages of the Tekken team and the art style of Pokemon.But there is a lot of people online and a quite active community. Even though its taken a while to gain ground, I feel good about the time I have put into this game. The single player mode is a great introductory tool for new players as you have to fight 400 matches and master the basics of the game to unlock Mew Two.The online code is great, though its not immune to lag or long distant pings. But I have been able to enjoy it a lot.The only think I think they could have done better was to remove the skills on the online multiplayer, as in official tournament format they are not allowed. So its kind of hard to feel how good you are in the game as the skills dramatically change each fighter a lot, plus with the supports that can combo with skills it makes it even harder to select the correct counters for match ups. Which can be more than just frustrating when someone completely counters you skills and play style with theirs. (plus then you have to go though extra menus to do that which does take time.

Fun game, brings back good memories of Tekken but with Pokemon characters. After awhile, it feels like Rock Paper Scissor, just need to hope you perform the move that beats your opponent's move.
