So starting out I'd like to say that as a game, its a great 3d platformer, However it seemed that Ubisoft's main goal was simply to put their name out their with the 3DS, populating a large portion of the games launched with the 3DS. Due to this while the original is/was great, they should have brought something new to the table with this game, the graphics while nice, translate poorly to the 3DS, things flying to the center screen cause you to cross your eyes trying to follow whatever your focus is on, causing the 3D effect to break causing a little more eye strain then their should be. Also the actual 3D programing was extremely, this could have been a software glitch or something else, but ever when looking the the screen correctly I found myself seeing a double alot of the time. However with the 3D being like this I found myself turning the 3D off and simply enjoying the old school goodness...I just beat the game last night, it took maybe 20hrs or so, so not a bad amount of play time, but since it is a portable game, it would have been nice to have additional game modes, like mini games, to make me want to keep the game after finishing it.I gave it 4 stars overall, just because of the actual game, a great classic, that sadly didn't transfer into the 3D effect as well as it could of if they had done some actual reprogramming rather then taking something never intended to be viewed in actual 3D....so shame on Ubisoft for doing this to poor Rayman, but still gotta love the li.
