ALL AIRCRAFT REPORT! Don't listen to all the Nintendo fanboys who want the same old drivel spoofed to them in an overdone, rehashed format. Star Fox Zero is exactly what the series needed to put it back on track - this game defines what a Star Fox game should be at its core: an adventure shooter.WARNING SPOILER ALERT BELOW THIS LINE. EMERGENCY - PREPARE FOR LAUNCH - WARNING SPOILER ALERT BELOW THIS LINE.**************************************************************************************************************************************************************************STORY: Star Fox Zero's story is very similar to that of Star Fox 64 for the Nintendo 64 (and Star Fox 64 3D for the Nintendo 3DS) except for a few minor differences. Overall I think this re-telling of the story of Star Fox 64 was needed after the series had gone in a few bizarre directions over the years (see Star Fox Adventures for the Nintendo Gamecube).GAMEPLAY: The game really plays most like Star Fox 2 for the Super Nintendo (an unreleased Super Nintendo game that was shelved in favor of implementing the bulk of the game mechanics into what eventually became Star Fox 64). If you ever have the opportunity to play an emulated copy of Star Fox 2 - I highly suggest this for any fan of the game series. Zero features levels using the ever familar Arwing and Landmaster. You can also use the Walker (first seen in the unreleased Star Fox 2) and the new Gyrowing (and the Direct-i robot).SOUND + MUSIC: The music fo.

Not sure why so many are having such a bad time with the controls, yes they do have a slight learning curve, but once learned they make the game more immersive and fun! Amazing level design and variety keep things new and challenging. Ultra nice graphics and settings add to the awesome. As a huge fan of Star Fox, I highly recommend this game.Also, if you haven't seen it yet, Nintendo made an insanely cool short film called "Star Fox Zero - The Battle Begins". Go and watch it if you are on the fence about buying this game. It will give you a taste of how cool this game is.

It's very very fun! i had to switch it to joystick control because moving the wii u pad makes you dizzy. but overall the story and the action is GREAT! one of the best star fox games ever.
