This is an overall fun game. You can be some new x-men characters and some that no one remembers. Magma is what the game is based around. She's this really cool girl that has the power to make lava. But you can also be others like Jean Grey (who sucks) and Wolverine (who's amazing). There is also this ability where if you get three tokens you use a really good move. The danger room is also fun where you can be a boss after you beat them.ProsCool characters, cool bosses, cool danger room, cool missions, easy controls, fun danger room, in-game danger room good for leveling up, can be bosses in danger room, really good story-line.ConsLong missions.Gameplay 5/5It's easy to master the controls and just killing people with four x-men is amazing.Replay 2/5It's a fun game but hard to level up and takes a long time.Graphics 3/5Only reason it didn't get a 1 is because of the cutscenes.Music 4/5It could have been a little better but it's still good.Storyline 5/5Couldn't have been better.Mini-games 5/5The danger room lets you be bosses and fight a friend. Two Player 5/5In the danger room it's okay but in story the controls are so easy that friend of yours won't hold you back and they can come in at anytime.Length 3/5It's average but the missions take two hours.Bosses 5/5They are fun to verse and be. They are also challenging.Characters 5/5They are amazing. Espicially thair attacks.Variety 5/5Come on there are 15 characters and so many missions and bosses to be.Surprise 4/5It is almost non.

At first I didn't know how this game was going to turn out so I put off buying it. Eventually I did buy it and it turn out to be great! This game is also multiplayer.Playable CharactersWolverineCyclopsJean GreyRogueColossusNightcrawlerProfessor XPsylockeBeastJubileeMagmaGambitIcemanStormEmma FrostThis game wasn't very challenging I beat this game fairly quickly the only one I had a problem on was Mastermold. He took almost all of my party but luckly I had enough money to revive my team. There are parts in the game where you have to have a specific mutant in your party to get past that part. Which is sometimes annoying because you have to go back to a save point and change your members and if that mutant was knocked out than you would have to revive them.Every mutant has four powers. For example Storm, Jean, and Rogue can fly which can get you out of some sticky situations at some point. Iceman can create a bridge of ice so you can get to the next area. The graphics are pretty good I'd give it about a 4 out of 5.Funfactor 5 out of 5Overall 4 out of 5All X-Men fans must get this game!

Hmm...well, first off, I remember reading a review by Derek …

Hmm...well, first off, I remember reading a review by Derek Mok before buying the game, and almost didn't because of his bad review (of course, I bought it anyway out of boredom and curiousity). As it turns out, he had played, oh, approximately 5% or so of the game. As such, he got lots of things wrong, and, since retrolio's evidently deemed fit to still place his review at the top of their list, I'd hate for others to be misled as I was.First, the Danger Room bit where he claims you can only train one of your characters. At first, this is true, and the initial trainings act as a tutorial, teaching you the combo sequences. But there are many, MANY Danger Room exercises to be found as you progress through the game, and the Danger Room becomes a big part of the Story Mode as it allows you easily level your characters up by replaying old training exercises. Now, as a side note, don't confuse the Danger Room I mentioned in that paragraph with the Danger Room option that's accessed through the main menu. THAT Danger Room mode sucks; everyone's gotten that point right. It does have about 10 minutes of entertainment value, as you can play as the villians, but that's about it. But no, it's the Danger Room exercises within the Story Mode itself that I'm referring to. I know, a bit confusing if you haven't played the game. Also, some people complain about the save game engine; in my opinion, it's really not bad. It isn't a "Save Anywhere" style as in Champions of Norrath, more lik.

This is another game I had as a kid & I love this game still. I'm only a little less than 7 hours in, but I love the long strings of combos you can do. The roster that's in it is good & it is challenging. However, it has frozen on me once so far. Hopefully, it doesn't freeze anymore.
