however i would recommend. Super Mario Advance 3 is the better game though. This one doesn't have Yoshi and i feel like its a step down from the other one.

We bought our five year old son a GameBoy Advance and this Super Mario Bros. cartridge for Christmas. On January 28th, it is still the first thing he wants to do when he wakes up in the morning. Granted, it's addicting - and we've had to limit the amount of time that he plays - but I am amazed at the positive aspect of video play. My son's problem solving skills are improving exponentially as he uncovers new uses for found icons and develops solutions to each new level. This toy is a winner. He loves it! And - dare I say, he does seem to be learning from using it. Hurray!
