Wish I had gotten this instead of a NES off Retro Fam. So much better and the games work perfectly. Even the 500 in 1 I bought works perfect!

The system did all that it promised. I was able to play the NES games I've had for 25 years. I'm playing with a 2nd. generation, my grandson whose 5 years old and he really likes the games(as long as he can win). I have to pull the games out, because you have to hold the system down with one hand and pull out the game with the other because they hold in really tight., but other than that it's all good. This system does not blink off and on as the original NES did and it plays the games clear with no snow screen. I like my purchase.

Plays NES and SNES games. Its about the next best thing to having a real nintendo lying around. S-video output quality is absolutely terrible, stick with the RCA cables. I played 3 NES games so far and they all work perfectly, Zelda save files aren't an issue either. Haven't tried a super nintendo game yet, I'm sure they work just as well as the nes.Sometimes you have to stick the nes cartridge in several times before you can load it properly, at first I thought mine was broken. Then I just kept takingthe cartridge out and sticking it back in and it worked fine - and still does work fine, almost every time. Controllers are awesome, I don't know how anyone could complain about them.All in all, for the price the retro duo cannot be beat. An adapter can be purchased to play sega genesis games as well; now I think that's just too cool. Now its time to finally beat castlevania! With me luck!
