I'm an avid FIFA fan, but reading the PES reviews this year I had to try it myself. So I bought both to see the differences.I must say that PES gameplay is much better. Passing and control as well as defending was awesome. But a major con (my son's input:) was that PES does not have FUT and also they don't have rights to the major league teams hence the teams are named differently which can be confusing. Also having played FIFA for so long, there was a learning curve where the controls were concerned. I had to relearn the buttons and customize to get the feel. The tutorials helped a lot. Once you get the hang of it though, it's great.Another thing I hated was that I could not change the controller setting in-game. Unless I'm doing something wrong. That was frustrating. Prefer being able to change the controls on the fly. Also the game menu is very different than FIFA's so if you've never played PES before, it will take some getting used to.And while I review PES I though I'd mention a few things about FIFA as well:The game feel is the same as before and adding the womens world cup team is a plus. BUT the gameplay sucks! In FIFA this year, having a fast paced player makes no difference as you can barely outrun the defenders. Ball control is horrendous and passing is frustrating. Also if you are a casual gamer, then you will get frustrated as knowing some special moves to lose the players in order to score is a must.Verdict:If you can get used to the controls and pre-set a few c.
