Ninja Turtles was going large and it was only a matter of time until Konami (Ultra Games did the first two before totally merging with Konami) released another entry in the phenomenon. The third game, "The Manhattan Project," boasted some better graphics and more enemies to bash. Let's take a look:THE GOODUnlike the second game, each turtle had his different advantages and personal special attack: Leonardo spinned around while swinging his swords (flinging enemies away), Raphael headrammed his enemies across the screen, Mikey utilized a flying kick attack, and Donatello rolled into a bowling ball to knock his foe to the ground. You could also switch turtles once you lost a life, something the second game also didn't have. The characters are also nicely animated as well and the music is probably the best in the series.THE BADBad? Bah. Can't say anything bad about it!OVERALLA MUST-HAVE FOR THE NES COLLECTION. This is a superbly-made game and it's even better with two players. The Ninja Turtles games have always been fun and this continues that tradition. I'd go so far as to say that this is the best in the series. So go grab some nunchukus and hunt this game down before it's too late.

Underrated, much like a lot of the stuff released towards the end of the NES' run. It's almost as good as the beloved Turtles in Time on the SNES. It doesn't quite match the arcade equivalent, but that's to be expected. If you like Turtles in Time and you don't mind NES graphics, you will probably like this.
