Last year I started my wii fitness with My Personal Trainer - happy to report I still use the program at least 3X per week, I quickly added wii fit (somewhat disappointed as I was use to 'routines' not independent programs). When wii fit plus came out, I grabbed it and really appreciate the upgrades. Now to My Biggest Loser -- this completes the package. I bore easy and, as many know, that can be a death knell to a fitness program. I love the warm-ups, routine, and cool downs. I did make the mistake (feeling I was in great shape) to start with the challenging program. It doesn't matter what exercises you did before, these full body routines will find muscles not yet stretched. I stepped back and soon built up to manage the more challenging routines. You do sweat - a lot! Only minus might be managing the remote with the balance board (which I think is a must). A bit annoying to strap on, off - put in pocket. However, after a few times you do get use to the process.

I've only used this game for a couple days, and I agree with what everyone else is saying about the lack of choices regarding your avatar and the user interface. Ease of use is definitely not one of the pluses. Now, I've also been playing Wii Fit Plus for a couple days, and so I'm comparing the two.Wii Fit is more fun. Balance games are entertaining (OMG--there's a cleat flying at your head!), and Bob & Jillian say the same couple phrases over and over. But...If you're looking for a workout, even the beginner levels of Biggest Loser are harder than Wii Fit Plus.

I found myself in the position that I had gained …

I found myself in the position that I had gained almost 100 pounds since getting married almost two and a half years ago. With a baby on the way, I thought now was as good a time as any to start losing weight. I set my goals small and started with the Wii Fit but never really felt like I was getting the workout that I needed.Enter "The Biggest Loser". This game is fantastic! After the first use, I could tell that my muscles were actually working. I was sweating intensely. I said to myself, "now THIS is a workout!". Unlike WiiFit, you don't have to work hard at stupid games to unlock other workouts. All of your workouts are there already. You can create a profile and follow the plan that they set for you, or you can do like I do and just select what part of your body you want to work out, along with the intensity and the length of the workout. There are so many exercises to choose from, you will never get bored with this game. Also, if you don't have time to go into a moderate or intense workout (30 to 45 minutes), you can do a light workout and still feel like you are getting something done. It also has a bunch of extras like calorie counters and a cookbook that you can pull recipes from, but personally, I chose to use WeightWatchers and find that it works much better for someone that is "on the go".The only two gripes that I have with this game is the actual Biggest Loser aspect. You get pitted against imaginary characters and if you don't "perform" to the games.
