Great games! Worth it for streets of rage!

I see a lot of YouTube commentators saying there is input lag and stutter. I don't know if they are using a PS4 Pro or standard. But stretch full screen and 4dx rendering is perfect. I have only tried Wonder Boy, Ristar and Streets of Rage but I am not experiencing any problems with patch 1.01. I recommend this collection.

First of all, I'm tempted to take a star off for the obvious omissions of the Ecco the Dolphin games and Sonic 3 and Knuckles, but the overall presentation in the collection is just too good. The developers have taken into account how ugly 30 year-old sprite games can look on modern displays and thankfully have given us a plethora of screen filter options that were not present in the previous generation's Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. Scanlines! Screen curvature! Bilinear filtering! We can finally relive these games in their intended '90s visual aesthetic (heck, there's even a little virtual CRT you can play them on!).There still seems to be a little input lag on button presses, but this is light years improved from the aforementioned PS360 collection.For the price, you really can't (ahem, legally) beat this collection. It's much cheaper than tracking down the original carts or buying them piecemeal digitally.Some may cry foul at the big missing games mentioned earlier, I myself was disappointed at the complete lack of Sega CD, 32X, and Master System/Game Gear titles. But hey, it looks like there's room for 20 more games on the virtual shelf in the game, so maybe we'll get some more as DLC?

It came as described, and in good condition. Experienced a lot of nostalgia playing through the titles in this collection!

When I first saw this on PlayStation store I was nervous cause it said PS VR and I don’t do VR but let me put those like myself at ease and say you don’t need VR for this game.These are some of the best Sega games from my childhood. Gunstar Heroes which is a fast paced side scrolling shooter, Sonic, Sonic 2, Phantasy Star 2 Thur 4, not sure why the first one isn’t there but excellent old school RPGs. Streets of Rage games which were some of best beat em up games of all time. I am very satisfied with the selection.
