I have been a fan of the Zumba XBox workouts for the past couple of years, but needed more intensity in my workout. I decided to try this based upon the reviews, and I love it! The game-based series like jump rope and block punching/kicking are fun and provide excellent cardio. The workout-based series provide a great variety, are easy to follow and very effective. I felt sore for the first time in a year after doing the bootcamp workout. The dance-based series is also easy to follow. I like how easy it is to customize my workout and do something different every day. I also enjoy tracking my progress.I'm not giving it five stars because of a couple of things. First, the Kinect loses sight of me when I try to do floor exercises, so I have to pause the game, adjust the sensor down, then pause the game again and readjust the sensor when I stand. It disrupts my workout. Second, the dance workouts are not on the beat sometimes, so it's tough to follow the instructor. If you like dance workouts I strongly suggest the Zumba workouts in place of these. The songs are better and the routines are more fun.Overall I think this fitness program is an innovative and exciting way to get into shape. Both men and women can use it because there is so much variety, so it's a good investment for all.
