Personal Trainer: Walking - DS Game (Retro Fam)

My Dad was so thankful to get this for his birthday! He had sent his old pedometer for this game through the wash and was upset that my mom was passing him up.

I've using this daily, and while it's good, it's not great. I've been logging 10,000+ steps a day on 'Walk it Out' for the Wii + my normal daily routine walking, and yet there's still times when my pedometer says that I'm only doing 7,000 or 8,000 steps. It's annoying, but I just set my daily goal to 8,000 steps even though I know I'm walking more. The game overall is easy to use, and it's fun to compare my steps taken to others. My husband and I both use this daily, and it's definitely made me more aware of taking that staircase instead of the elevator or parking out a bit farther when I run errands. I'm mostly pleased with the purchase, I just wish the pedometer was more accurate.

This game / fitness tracker is great fun originally released for the Nintendo DS it also works in the 3DS and 2DS systems it utilizes the infrared port to transmit data from the two pedometers included to record your steps during the day the pedometers themselves are quite accurate as I have a Fitbit which I have tried them against. The game itself although simplistic adds an extra angle to keeping fit and you can add up to an extra two trackers to the one game cartridge making a total of 4 so that a family could use this with the one cartridge. It also suggests and has an option in the game for you to add it to a dog to check his or her steps overall great fun well worth the money

came in on time and was in good working order. pretty accurate at step count it counted all the step of the recent horse back ride (all 4 hooves)

I was looking for something to motivate me to walk and track my progress. When I found this game I got very excited because it included a second pedometer for my husky puppy. So far it has been a great motivational tool and a lot of fun making my walking seem like a game rather than a chore. Of course my puppy consistently beats me as the top walker but its no wonder with all the time he chases the cats around the house. I enjoy seeing activity times as well so I can track when I am active during the day and monitor my puppy's activity to see if he s up late at night (helps me spot times when he needs to go outside and prevent accidents when he is consistently up at the same time early in the am according to the monitor). This has been a great deal of fun and I enjoy sharing our daily walking totals with my husband who is in Iraq makes him feel closer. Great all around game for any age or species lol I will have to put one on the cat to see who is truly number one in the house!
