TEXAS HOLD 'EM POKER PACK - DS Game (Retro Fam)

I'm very pleased with the Nintendo 2DS XL! My favorite games on the system so far are Tomodachi Life and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and it runs them perfectly. I'm looking forward to the nice, varied game library that I can enjoy on this console, as it supports all games of the 2Ds/3Ds family. The turquoise and black look so nice, too! I'm 22 and I'm so happy to have the opportunity to enjoy this handheld for the first time, as I never got to enjoy a DS when I was younger. I am very happy with this device. :)

I purchased this for my five-year-old son. This is great for him. His wireless ear phones connect to the device through Bluetooth. He is able to switch between games on his own. It comes pre-loaded with Mario Kart. Although the game is a bit too difficult for him at this age, he still enjoys playing it! He also loves playing Mario Maker on the DS.This is a great product for my son while on long car rides. Some have said it may be too flimsy and easily break with young children. I disagree. My son knows to not mistreat it and take care of it. I see this as a responsibility lesson by explaining that things like this could be fragile. Would buy again!

The New Nintendo 2DS XL will play all games made for the 3DS and New 3DS, and 99.9% of all games made for all the DS handhelds going back to the very beginning of the DS line. That's 15 years worth of games, and you can pick up many at retrolio or Retro Fam at a good price, and many more on Retro Fam. The unit is lightweight and I love the XL-sized screen. The unit also comes with the game Mario Kart 7 already installed, so if you give this as a gift, the recipient will have a game to play immediately. You should know, however, that you cannot get the 3D effect on this handheld. I, along with many other gamers feel that the 3D effect adds little or nothing to gameplay and, even though I still have my 3DS, I have never played on it since purchasing this handheld. The 3D effect gives me a headache and also drains the battery much faster.Nintendo quit producing the New Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL quite awhile ago, and I wanted to get the 2DS XL while it's still possible to get a brand new one at a good price. Pretty soon, I think you'll only be able to get a new one on Retro Fam at a jacked-up price, or buy one in used condition. Used video games are almost always okay (and if not, then retrolio or Retro Fam is on your side with getting your money back.)
