short of writing a book, the most succinct way I can put Yakuza 0, or really yakuza as a whole, is this is Sega's answer to GTA with significant emphasis on areas that make Yakuza it's own game. The close combat system is relatively well fleshed out, the narrative is an engaging one with twists (maybe predictable but still good) with lots of side quests and things to do on the side and lots of weird/funny crap you'd only get out of a japanese title. It's worth your time.Don't look too close at their faces, for some of the important characters, it's kinda too real as far as old asian man face goes.

Yakuza kicks balls. The first Yakuza game I played was Kiwami, and it was amazing. This game is pretty much the same, but it's a prequel. They both rule. Yakuza games are what GTA wishes it could be. Everything is great from the action to the plot and all the little bits in-between, all with characters that you actually care about. Yakuza 0 in particular is a good starting point if you're new to the series since it's a prequel. The only real downside to these great games is that sometimes the bosses can be really hard, but they're not so hard you can't progress in the game (although you'll be tearing your hair out either way). The short version is that these games are the cream of the crop when it comes to quality video games.

This game is a fantastic investment. It is incredibly deep and rewarding. I have about 60 hours into it and there hasn't been a dull moment. The combat scenes are gritty and fun. The game has a good amount of humor sprinkled throughout. There are tons of mini- games and side-quests - enough to keep this game interesting for over 100 hours, I'd bet.In terms of value - this is the best game that I've played on the PS4 yet. Highly recommended.

Great game! The storyline for the game was absolutely amazing. One of the few games (nowadays at least) that you don't feel rip off for paying $60.
