Yes, another Madden game. The great thing about it is …

Yes, another Madden game. The great thing about it is the fact that they added more features and options on top of the previous options and features which made this game a best selling football game for ALONG time. The pre season training modes are very unique and fun to play the mini games, like tackle drills, pass catching, QB practice, scrimmage games between offense and defense, running play practice where you have only one blocker and must attempt to score as many touchdowns as possible while 2 defenders come at you. After you win points on a pre season practice game you may either add the points to that player's stats, or wager them towards an increased difficulty mini game of the same type and win double points, lose and your out of the origonal points. Very neat and fun twist to Madden. Also very fun to experiment with are the Madden Cards. There are football cards that you can buy with 100 tokens(tokens are obtained by doing special tasks during a game like tackle 3 people with the same defensvie-man) and you get 11 or 12 per pack, each card has special abilities that you can use during a game. Such abilities are "Hands of Glue" which makes catching passes MUCH easier, hardly any are dropped. Certain "hidden" teams can be accessed through possesion of cards, and player cards are very common, but some player cards' effects only last anywhere from one play to one quarter to one half. some last the whole game. The hidden teams cards are different, you dont need to play.

This game definately has the most realistic gameplay i've seen …

This game definately has the most realistic gameplay i've seen yet. However there are certain plays that you can run and always gain alot of yardage. I have scored well over 100 points on All-Madden mode with just 5 minute quarters. For passing, basically if you have a receiever whose speed and accel are good, you simply run up and out routes (on a diagnal) and throw it and you will almost always get the catch. For running, there are a few plays which you will always gain yards, I have gained well over 400+ rushing yards in a game on all madden. Use rushing plays that go around your front line (but not pitch or swing plays). Sort of like up the middle but around. Then head towards the sideline, and when a person comes to tackle you, you basically let off the acceleration and before coming to a stop, use a juke move to the outside. The juke has little effect if you are running at full speed, but if you are almost stopped, the defender will be thrown way off. This goes the same for kickoffs and punt-returns.Also, a HUGE problem is the ability for the ref to get the call right. Sometimes a play is called incorrect and it won't even let you challenge. Also, about 30% of the time a play that is challenged will still be ruled incorrectly.Injuries are cool, but if they get a broken jaw, they will walk off the field holding their arm, or something stupid like that. So its not too realistic. Also, the computer running backs have a rediculous way of breaking tackles. All of my.
