I've only put in around 2 solid hours of the game.. I can honestly say this is one of the most amazing games I have ever played. This game is a mixture of a post apocalyptic blockbuster movie, button clicker, stealth game, and a fps... sort of. I'm here to show my support and amazement at what Naughty Dog has accomplished. This game is stellar and now I am going to continue playing after a short break. Just buy it, I promise you will not regret it. PS: I hope you have a dimly lit room, 1080p HD 55-80 inch or bigger TV with audiophile grade speakers & sub-woofer. You will reach gaming Nirvana.

I play a lot of games and I don't think I have ever said this before: this was the best game I've ever played. Yes, you get to kill zombies, but that's not what the game is about. The game is about the struggles of Joel and Ellie, both physically and emotionally as they try to survive as they travel across a land that has been destroyed by this outbreak of infection. It has been a long time since I really connected in such an emotional way to a video game story. That's not to say that the gameplay was lackluster and the story was the only thing done well. Everything about the game was top-notch. Naughty Dog really hit this one out of the park.

This game is brilliant, I believe the key to this game is both the story and online. The story is about 10-12 hours plus the Left behind DLC about 2 hours its a total of 12-14 hours of gameplay. The graphics are beautiful and voice acting is simply amazing even the quotes on some of the characters will never be forgotten. So is it worth buying that DLC? My answer is if you get really into the main story and you want to find out on Ellie's past about her being bit and between where Joel gets stabbed and Ellie is taking care of him, its worth the DLC. It still leaves you wondering after the DLC and the main story. Perhaps a sequel? Because it was a cliffhanger ending on both sides. It was a little disappointing but leaves you wanting more. In the end this is a game that shouldve been game of the year when it came out and for the ps4. I know GTA V was released around the time this came out so I guess both games are pretty darn good. The city ruins is designed amazingly. Also the control scheme is pretty neat and basic, youll quicjly adjust to it there is no problems there neither. The characters do feel alive (Obviously since they were modeled by the actors themselves) lets hope there is a sequel.

Gamers are generally a very entitled lot and the more hardcore they are the more likely to nitpick every last detail and nuance that doesn't cater to their personal preference or loftiest desire.I've been playing computer and video games since I was a wee lad, so I have a healthy gamer streak in me. I know of what I speak. So, quickly, the things you will find a bit off-putting about The Last of Us; AI partners that wander around in full view of the enemy, sometimes brushing up past them, and the enemy remains blissfully unaware of their presence.Actually, I think that's really about it. And even that is only noticeable the first few times it happens. In every other way, The Last of Us is a major leap forward and a total masterpiece of gaming. The unprecedented emotional connection that the game manages to forge with the player is astounding and when the characters were supposed to feel sadness, I felt sadness. When the characters were supposed to feel rage, I felt rage. I have never teared-up as much while playing a video game and The Last of Us hits such melancholy and bittersweet emotional highs and lows that at times it feels all too real. The gameplay itself is visceral and profoundly satisfying, alternately exhilarating and downright horrifying. Moments emerge naturally from the gameplay that will have you on the edge of your seat. The presentation is beyond anything I've ever seen, with environments and character models that clearly push the PS3's hardware to its a.

Man, this game is INTENSE. Lighting, Animation, Sound, Graphics and Story all amazing. Haven't been this freaked out in a game since Resident Evil's 1 and 2.The pacing of the game is great as well. Never felt repetitive. The game starts and just continues to build. Each level as fresh and new as the last. It was an amazing adventure and I didn't even have to leave my couch.Took me 20 hours to play through it and that was with a lot of exploring.Loved it and would recommend it to any gamer or horror suspense fan.
