Tron Evolution - PS3 Game (Retro Fam)

Good storyline. Decent gameplay. Immersive atmosphere.

Do you like the Original TRON? How about TRON: LEGACY? Would you like to find out a little more detail about the middle while performing a lil' parkour? Then this game is definately for you.TRON: Evolution is the story that fills the time between the 1982 version of TRON and the new TRON: Legacy movies. It begins with an amazing video sequence and great sound that are as amazing as the movie. The game play, while not quite as amazing as the intro sequence still wows as you run through different levels avoiding Recognizer's and Clu's henchman while avoiding falling to deresolution.The most challenging and dissapointing aspect of this game is the common downfall of many Disney adventure games; the camera angles are difficult. As you run on narrow platforms, fallen pillars, and engage in hand-to-hand combat you often find yourself in a first person perspective or seeing partial sequences of your battle as you are block by walls. As you progress through the game the camera control will be come second nature and while annoying at times, is not as bad as when you initially begin.Another caution is that you are buying an action RPG style of game. While you do not take turns striking, you do enter rooms in which all exits seal and you engage in action sequences battling Clu's henchmen. This is nothing like the original tron arcade games. While you do have one on one identity disc battles, you do not engage in lightcycle battles. The light cycle is used as mode of transportation.Overa.
