I have been a long time player of the series playing all of the games, So when I first heard of a new Dmc game in the works I understandably became excited to get my hands on any new screens and information on the game's development. When I first heard that this was going to be a remake of the series, my heart sank to my stomach, I was immediately turned off by the whole idea and called it quits.....that is until out of pure curiosity I decided to pick it up at Retro Fam with credits that I had. After a few missions I was completely blown away by what a amazing game Ninja Theory had created.STORY: Much like it's predecessors, this game features a story good enough to carry you on through to the end. Not much in the ways of plot twists or amazing dialogue, but it does keep the wheels turning as you slug away through 20 missions. Fans of the old Dante have nothing to fear as his one liners are still here but a little heavy on the potty mouth, but regardless are enough to give you a chuckle here and there. It also seems that while younger than the previous Dante, this one seems to be a little more mature. There are some serious tones throughout but not enough to bring the action to a halt, but the game mostly keeps a lighthearted approach to whats going on screen. There is even one scene in the first mission that has a white wig fall in Dante's head as he's staring at a mirror and proclaims "not in a million years".GAMEPLAY: Now this is where the game truly shines. The combat is.
