Even though i got this on Retro Fam for 20 bucks, i find that it is simply worth the 40 dollars retail price. It is an amazing game with colorful rich graphics and amazing gameplay that will keep you coming back to get all the collectibles or beat your times.

Sony gave this away as part of their PSN Instant Games Collection. I give it a 10 out of 10.I now have every Rayman game that ever existed on my wish list. For perspective, if my raving about it hasn't sold you enough,I've been playing Mario games since 1985 and I have never found a platformed to rival Mario, until now.Wish I had checked Rayman out back in the PS1 days, but now have something to do after I Platinum thecurrent Rayman games.

Lately, I've had a lot of stress in my life. I have to find a new job, new place to live, taxes, student loans, etc... I needed something to help me unwind and just enjoy to play. I tried my traditional outlets like Battlefield 3(PC of course), DiRT 3, Uncharted 3 (The 3s)... but these games weren't just letting me escape the reality that was slowly killing me was always on my shoulders. So I decided to pick up a Vita because I was now spending a lot of time on the go with little windows of time just waiting around. I decided to use Rayman Origins to fill those gaps. First thing to note is I am not a fan of the Rayman universe. Never had any real ties to the original series. That being said I fell in love with this game right away. It has this charm that it's constructed off of it's great level design, adorable characters, and a fascinating universe... Oh and that Art Design... Amazing Art Design! The game eases users into the mechanics at a decent pace. Never feels slow or over bearing and when you've learned it all, the levels really start to pick up and challenge you. You'll feel awesome when you save the pink little dot girls, pull off the perfect series of moves to reach the shiny gold coin, and drop your Vita and Dance when you get all the electrons in one level to start a disco dance party.Buy this game, Smile, and feel good about yourself.

This is perhaps the best game on any platform I have ever played. I originally got this for the Wii, but I wanted to experience this game on the go or when I'm bored, and I have enough days that I don't have to work to enjoy it. So, as you may have guessed, I have got a TON of this game down to a science. Apparently, so has Ubisoft. The game starts out with Rayman and his gang of misfits snoring, snoozing, and making music out of it, while Grannie from the Land of the Livid Dead gets fed up with it, eventually throwing anything within reach up into the tree where they are sleeping (and ending up accidentally throwing her living dead husband's head up there, waking up Rayman and causing him to scream after a brief moment). Then different music starts playing after the Darktoons head up there, which is caused by the pounding, hitting, and slapping each other silly, and Rayman and the gang end up in cages and break free. Once again, Rayman is on the case. Causing mischief and wrecking hilarious comic mayhem along the way. While the game has no multiplayer, causing the lack of Rayman and his friend Globox slapping each other to death, you can still play as Globox and still slap enemies, so the slapstick element is still preserved, and I have played as Globox for tons of marathons at Jibberish Jungle, the first world to tackle. After rescuing Betilla and the other Bodacious Nymphs of the Glade, you get different powers: Attack, Fly, Change Size, Dive, and finally Run on Walls. Using.
