My son bought this game with his Christmas money. I had read all the reviews, heard some good, but mostly bad press about this game. As my son fired it up for the first time, I must admit, I was very underwhelmed. The controls are far from perfect, especially when you are just starting, but I would hardly say they are glitchy or buggy. Once you have mastered the controls, and it doesn't take that long, you can begin to enjoy the game alot more. The swordplay could have been better but it's the best swordplay available right now due to the fact that instead of pushing a button to make an action, you actually have to swing the controller. The first few battles are lame due to the fact that the guys are so easy to beat. Later on, it takes alot more to defeat them, and you have to use more complicated techniques. I am currently having alot of fun with it. My son likes the multiplayer. I'm not that big of a fan, mostly due to the fact that my son is stomping my guts out every time. Overall, I am thinking this has been well worth the price of admission. Alot of fun.

The peek of graphic design and story adventure combine to make up...Redsteel! I seriously start sweating like a pig everytime I play this game because it's so intense! There's so much honor in the game too, it's like some people you shoot but others you duel with a ninja sword because you respect them more. You are on this quest to save your girlfriend, so hundreds, maybe even thousands, must die to save the lovely tattooed Japanese mob boss' daughter...actually, as I describe it I'm not sure if in the end I was the villain or not...weird twist.
